Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791)

Music history's most notorious "child prodigy," Mozart was composing for piano by the age of 6 and wrote his first symphony at 8! His father, Leopold Mozart (1719-1787), drug the boy genius all over Europe, performing for courts (beginning in Munich in 1762), musical academicians, and the public. As an adult, he was an undisputed master of virtually every musical genre of his era. Find out more about Mozart here.
